Best Deodorant for eczema – Suitable for Adults & Children

If you’ve read some of our previous blogs you’ll know I have suffered from eczema for 46 Years now and my son also suffers from eczema all over our body. He’s 20 now.

We both also suffer from eczema under our armpits and this can be really itchy and painful throughout the summer months when you start to sweat more. That irresistible urge to scratch which can lead to all sorts of problems like open wounds, infection an inflamed sore armpits.

We found the answer!

We have tried everything over the years, I personally have tried maybe 20-30 different types of deodorants from sprays to soaps and some worked for a while but then started to irritate my armpits. This makes them go red, sore and itchy.

I truly believe I have found the Best Deodorant for eczema, This is obviously just my opinion but I can safely say I have enough experience with eczema and products to proclaim such a statement.

Before finding ALOE EVER-SHIELD I would rip my armpits to shreds on hot summer days and I could feel the sweat running down my arms. I hated it and I used to get so embarrassed and conscious of my armpits sweating, but what could I do?. It was either have smelly armpits or sore and itchy armpits. I couldn’t win.

Then my wife said, “ I’ve bought you some new deodorant” I thought, here we go again another so-called great deodorant for eczema that simply won’t work. Or it will smell really perfumed more suitable for women than men.

All I wanted was a deodorant that didn’t smell too girly and didn’t make my armpits and eczema flare-up. Is that really too much to ask?

I was really shocked at how good it was.

It had a neutral smell which was great and it didn’t irritate my skin at all. WOW AT LAST!

The smell is very mild and I would call it a unisex smell. It smells enough for people to know you’re wearing some deodorant without being too overpowering. Even my 19-Year-old son loves it and he is very conscious of his eczema and what we use on his skin. ie: Textures, smell etc

The Deodorant is Called ALOE EVER-SHIELD and is made by a company called Foreverliving.

My wife purchased it from Amazon. I have included a link above for you to find it easily.

BEST DEODORANT FOR ECZEMA

As you can see from the image it comes in an easy to apply stick which won’t stain your clothes and doesn’t leave any white power on your skin. ( We have enough of that with the eczema skin flakes)

The feel is smooth and silky and really easy to apply, it’s not sticky and dries into your skin quickly leaving no sticky residue.

I apply it twice a day, in the morning before work and after work and the smell lasts all day.

It really is good, I cannot recommend it enough, I honestly don’t know what I would do this summer if I hadn’t have found this product.

As you know we only recommend products that we have tried and tested ourselves or if they come highly recommended from a close friend-follower that suffers from Eczema.

Aloe Ever-shield comes in a small stick which is 92 Grams which last me 3-4 Months depending on how long our summer lasts. So you might want to buy this 6 pack to save money CLICK HERE these should last you all year.

Can this be used anywhere else on the body?

Yes, I also use it on my feet when they are warm in summer.

However, I like to use Manuka cream on my feet which you can read about by CLICKING HERE on another blog. We wrote all about the benefits of using Manuka honey or products containing Manuka Honey.

Manuka cream also smells lovely and makes my feet feel smoother and they don’t seem to sweat as much.

So I don’t need to use this stick too much on my feet, only when I feel that they smell more than usual.

Suggested Use

This deodorant can be used daily under your arms and also on your feet.

Final thoughts

This product might work for you, it may not. With eczema… who knows.
